Back 40 Farm CSA Share

WHAT is Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)?

The goal of a CSA program is to foster a mutually beneficial relationship between farmers and their customers. For the customer, this means a weekly share of the best quality produce from the farm. For the farmers, it means early season capital to cover seed costs and other overhead, as well as direct relationships with the people enjoying their food. CSA members not only get to know their farmer, but have the opportunity to become creative with truly seasonal ingredients.

WHY choose a CSA?

Becoming a CSA member connects you to the food you eat, the farmers that grow it, and the land it’s grown on.

● Participating in a CSA directly invests in your local economy.
● Farm fresh food in your CSA bag promotes a more diverse and healthy diet.
● CSA membership supports environmental stewardship locally and globally.
● CSA is a great way to help create and support community.
